ABOUT ME

I am 46 years old, living in Burnley, seperated but with two lovely teenage children, Adam and Jessica.

My day job - I work as a Duty Manager and General Assistant at Samlesbury Hall, Samlesbury (near Preston, Lancashire).

ACTING

I sort of 'fell' into acting in November 2008 when I was given a speaking part in a television production when I was there as an extra. The same thing happened a few days later when I turned up at a film set to be an extra there too.

Talk about lucky - my first time on any sort of film set and I ended up with a speaking part - twice!

And that's when I caught the bug - and you all know how that feels!

So through EKA, Casting Call Pro and StarNow I have found myself as much work as possible.

Mostly student films and short films with independent film makers.

But it has given me invaluable experience and the drive to turn this 'hobby' into a career.
Up to today (October 2010) I have acted in a total of 30 productions (all in front of the camera) with another 2 yet to film.

LATEST NEWS:

Recently completed an advert for Train4Trade Skills in which I play a plumber. All green-screen, I'm told the end product will be very 'Tron'!!

Just finished filming the outdoor scenes of 'BUFOSA: Bolton UFO Spotters Association'. Camping in the rain - got very very wet - but a great cast and crew made it fun. Listen out to Bolton FM (those who can get it) for an interview with me and a couple of the other cast members chatting about the film.

Received an email today (270910) informing me I've got the part in the HSBC advert!! Then got a telephone call to say I've got the part in 'MediEvil' What a great day!!
